Building Communities... Opening Doors...
Bowman Senior Residences is a Nogales historical gem. Originally built in 1917 as temporary lodging for workers passing through the border, the Bowman Hotel’s century-old structure recalls a time when the railroad was new to Nogales, then a hub of transportation and business. In 1976, the guesthouse ceased operation, and the three-story building was primarily left vacant for 40 years. Now the community has be renovated into 48 beautiful one bedroom apartment homes serving persons aged 62 and over. The community features a four-story atrium, fitness center, business center, and a multipurpose room. Bowman Senior Residences is a perfect example of how partnership and a respect for the past can come together to build and revitalize communities.
